Slicing tomatoes with a really sharp knife
In this article I'm comparing the oddly satisfying feeling of slicing tomatoes with a really sharp knife to the design process of a product.
The IG Portfolio is a broad collection of projects done by interaction design students at HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd.Together with Michael Baisch we revamped the old platform. I focused on the conceptual realignment, visual design and front-end development.
A year after it's release it has been adapted to two other courses as well! There is now a KG (Communication Design) and an IoT (Internet of Things) Portfolio.
Feet - a study on foot-based interaction (Part 1)

I focused on the conceptual development and prototyping the interaction models.
Gloam — an interactive data visualization
Gloam is an interactive data visualization, that calculates the sunrise, sunset and twilight times based on given latitudes and renders them into a mesmerizing and stunning experience.
In December 2016 I added a rough Leap Motion support. You can adjust the times and latitudes with your hand. Just move around with your hand spread or closed.
